World to Cover – Global Travel Insurance Company (Insurance – B2C)

Platforms: Web, Mobile, Native (iOS and Android)
Role: End-to-End Product Design and Product Management

As product design lead for World to Cover, a global travel insurance company, I directed and executed the full redesign of its consumer-facing web, mobile, and native app experiences. The goal was to modernize a fragmented legacy platform into a unified, intuitive experience that increased policy sales, simplified claims, and supported travelers across multiple regions and devices.

I conducted global user research and competitive analysis to identify key decision moments in the insurance journey. From these insights, I developed behavioral personas, mapped end-to-end customer journeys, and designed simplified quote-to-claim flows that reduced friction and confusion. Working hands-on in Figma and prototyping tools, I created responsive wireframes, interaction models, and modular UI components optimized for cross-platform consistency. I also led sprint planning with engineering teams, ensuring design integrity through to development.

The result was a fully integrated platform with 24/7 multilingual access, personalized coverage recommendations, and seamless claim submission via mobile. Usability testing showed a 36 percent increase in completed policy purchases and a 40 percent reduction in customer service tickets. By combining data-driven UX strategy with hands-on UI execution, the new design positioned World to Cover as a modern, user-first travel insurance provider with a measurable lift in satisfaction and retention.
