Hyundai Motors – U.S. Market Digital Transformation

For Hyundai Motors, I led the complete redesign of its U.S. digital ecosystem, unifying fragmented customer journeys across B2C and B2B platforms. The goal was to modernize user experiences for both car buyers and dealership partners while improving operational efficiency through data-driven personalization and real-time integration.

I began by conducting in-depth user research, including stakeholder interviews, behavioral analysis, and persona mapping across consumer, dealer, and corporate audiences. I personally designed and prototyped responsive layouts that optimized navigation, streamlined vehicle search and financing workflows, and improved the overall emotional flow of the digital experience. My team and I integrated real-time data exchanges for inventory, promotions, and financing, while implementing a scalable design system to ensure brand consistency. We also incorporated AI-driven recommendation models to personalize content and offers based on user behavior.

The results were immediate: Hyundai saw a 40% increase in online inquiries and a 30% boost in lead generation within the first year. The redesigned experience dramatically improved conversion rates, satisfaction, and retention. By combining advanced personalization, modern UI, and thoughtful interaction design, we positioned Hyundai as one of the most digitally advanced automotive brands in the U.S.
