About

Sean Doherty

I am a senior product designer who takes products from research through user flows, wireframes, prototypes and final UI, and who owns what it takes to land them: the plan, the budget, the scope and the date. On every engagement in this portfolio the research, the journeys and the wireframes were mine, done hands on with junior designers around me.

Most of that work has been portals, ordering platforms and dashboards in regulated and high-trust industries: insurance, financial services, government and healthcare, alongside travel, gaming, retail and automotive. The method is the same each time. Watch people do the work before drawing anything, build the design system before the pages, treat accessibility as a property of the components, and measure the result once it is live.

Today the products are built as well as designed. SoloBusinessAI, FloraLoop and the ShelterPoint demonstration are working code I wrote with AI tooling, and the assistants inside them are designed the way I designed conversational systems before large language models: with the boundaries, the failure states and the handoff to a person decided first.
